Captain Stan Hunt

is a fourth generation fisherman, native of Pompano Beach, FL. He has fished exclusively as a full time charter & private boat captain/mate in South Florida and international waters for almost 20 years. He has over 25 first place finishes in billfish and meat tournaments, including 10 championship tournaments. His most recent win was in 2010’s Saltwater Showdown with a total weight of 195.4 pounds, which broke the record set in 2005 by captain Stan & his older brother Captain Casey Hunt who fished on The Get Sum together. In addition to competing in the South Florida tournament circuit yearly, Captain Stan helps run his family’s successful family-owned and operated charter boat business since 1968, aboard The Rebound out of Hillsboro Inlet in Pompano Beach, FL.


Brad Hunt Jr

is Captain Stan's older brother. Out of three boys Brad Jr. is the middle brother. Naturally, he also grew up fishing and participating in tournaments with Brad Hunt Senior and oldest brother Casey Hunt. He served as Captain abroad The Rebound for 15 years prior to little brother Stan taking over. He currently works as a Captain aboard a private boat called Game Day.


John Henry

Henry is the youngest member on the team. Born in Panama, he did a lot of blue marlin fishing with his dad. He moved to South Florida and got involved with The Rebound 5 years ago. He was part of the winning team that won the title of KDW champs and helped rake in one of the biggest tournament payouts in South Florida history. The team had $100,000 in winnings during the 2010 Saltwater Showdown. He currently mates aboard another charter boat at Hillsboro Inlet called The Ringmaster.


Thomas Bartas

was born & raised in Florida. He grew up mainly fishing with his dad. About 10 years ago he started charter & tournament fishing with Captain Stan. He has experience fishing marlin tournaments and now spends most of his time charter fishing & swordfishing. He was part of the winning team that won the title of KDW champs and helped rake in one of the biggest tournament payouts in South Florida history. The team had $100,000 in winnings during the 2010 Saltwater Showdown.


Keith Bonafe

grew up with the Hunt brothers charter fishing for the last 20 years. He has fished and helped win numerous tournaments with the Get Sum crew for the last 15 years.He was part of the winning team that won the title of KDW champs and helped rake in one of the biggest tournament payouts in South Florida history. The team had $100,000 in winnings during the 2010 Saltwater Showdown. He's currently the Captain aboard a private boat out of Hillsboro Inlet called Mosey On.
